March 25, 1977: BOB SEGER GOES PLATINUM!!!





After a decade of having local success in the Michigan area...

 33 year old Bob Seger gets his big break. His 9th album, "Night Moves" goes Platinum on the strength of three Top Forty hits: "Night Moves"   (which charted at #4), "Mainstreet" (which charted at #24) and "Rock and Roll Never Forgets"   (which charted at #41)…
      










“Night Moves" was named by Rolling Stone as Best Single of the Year for 1977 and The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame named it one of the 500 Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll!
